Style – qty of spirals – qty of rods – rod gauge, spiral gauge
 
A. CB=Compound Balanced Weave mesh. The number immediately following is the number of rods that must be removed to release a spiral from the mesh.
B. Indicates spirals number per foot of width. Compound balanced belts consist of spirals tightly seated together. Identify one spiral (will be lined up evenly across the belt and count that one Only).
C. Indicates rods number per foot of length.
D. Indicates the wire gauge. If it is four numbers (two pairs of numbers), the first is the gauge of the rods and the second is the gauge of the spiral wire. If there is a F after the specification it means FLATTENED
