Flat Wire Conveyor Belt

Qinghe Flat Wire Conveyor Belts track better because of the design –– they are made with no gaps between the pickets.

Unlike other Flat Wire metal belts, our standard-duty conveyor belts are made with 11-gauge rods, while our heavy-duty mesh belts are made with 6-gauge rods.

Opening Sizes Available are 1″ x 1”, 1/2″ x 1”, 1/2″ x 1/2″, also in modified 1/2″ x 1/2″ and can duty styles.

When selecting a Flat Wire Belt, please consider the product size and the weight of the load. Standard duty is sufficient for most applications, whereas Heavy Duty provides extra-long life, heavy load capacity and for tougher conditions.

Accessories can be supplied according to special requests.

Clinched edges form a clean, smooth selvage which prevents the wire belt from necking down and hanging up on the side of the conveyor. Since the metal belt edge has not been metallurgical altered through the welding process, it is stronger and lasts longer.

Belt Materials:
Galvanized Low Carbon Steel: low cost, some rust resistance, operates in temps up to 300 deg C, but at 180 deg galvanized flaking will occur.

High Carbon Steel:  Temps of 180 to 450 Deg C, greater abrasion resistance than galv.
304 Stainless Steel: Temps up to 600 deg C, although corrosive resistance may occur at 420 deg C
316 Stainless Steel: More resistant than 304 in sulfuric, acetic and phosphoric acids.  Greater resistance to corrosion that 304 ss.

Standard Duty Belt Clinched Edge

Strong edge that reduces the chance of belt snagging or catching on conveyor protrusions.
Providing for better wear edge on misaligned conveyor systems.
Under heavier loads, assisting in preventing belt from narrowing.

Standard Duty Belt Welded Edge

Greater flexibility than the clinched edge.
Allowing sprockets to be placed in the first opening of the belt.
Belt width over 24″ include an internal weld which reduces belt shrinkage under heavy loads without restricting flexibility of the belt.

Heavy Duty Belt-Clinched Edge

Available in widths of 10″ to 192″.
Providing for better wear on the edge on misaligned conveyor systems
Under heavier loads, assisting in preventing belt from narrowing.
Offering the same flexibility as Welded Edge.

Heavy Duty Belt-Welded Edge

Available in widths of 6″ to 192″
Allowing sprockets to be placed in the first opening on the belt.
Belt width over 24″ include an internal weld which provides greater strength, also reduces belt shrinkage under heavy loads without restricting flexibility of the belt.
Internal welds can be supplied upon special request for belts under 24″ wide.
